Interactive Social Wall


Facebook and Bud Light asked Britelite to create an engaging social activation for Super Bowl 48 in NYC. Utilizing an interactive touch screen podium, video wall, companion touch screens, printable photos and both the Facebook and Instagram API to create custom branded takeaways for guests visiting the Bud Light Hotel. Britelite was able to capture, collect and manage photos being taken at the event via a hashtag and geolocation, and then display them on a massive interactive video wall.

The Result

The activation was the focal point for the Bud Light Lounge at Super Bowl 48 and was a massive success for Facebook generating over 100 million impressions over the week that it was active. The activation broke new ground in its ability to collect and display Facebook and Instagram content, giving users unparalleled access to their favorite teams. Britelite created a system with a massive geofencing network that allowed users in New York to view real-time conversations about specific teams, regions or cities from across the US. The concepts and technologies developed in this project were redeployed in a myriad of future activations.
