Dreamoc: A Holographic Display at Britelite

We have just purchased our first Dreamoc, a three sided holographic 3D display which lets you combine a physical object with 3D holographic content. The company ‘Realfiction’, from Scandinavia, created the Dreamoc.

The Dreamoc allows for 3D images to be projected in and around a 270 degree projection environment, allowing viewers a truly unique way to experience 3D content. Using the unique projection architecture we are able to project images around physical objects that we place in the space. The most striking thing when you first view the unit is that you are getting glasses free 3D that looks real right in front of you. It is unlike any other experience I have ever had with 3D, and much more akin to looking at Leia asking Obi Wan Kenobi for "help".

With resilient materials and exclusive components such as aluminum and brushed steel, the holographic display holds a special spot in the BLi Innovation Space. The Britelite team is having fun integrating this new technology tool into some of our current projects.
