Capital One 25th Anniversary
The Capital One Physical Experience Design team (PXD) sought a high impact installation to celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary. Britelite worked in tandem with the PXD team to create an interactive experience as an employee destination for their McLean, VA headquarters. The installation features custom-fabricated units each housing four screens with proximity detection, and a motion-activated LED tunnel all creating a unique sculptural experience tied together using our Litehouse control system. Each screen focuses on a specific piece of Capital One’s values: Brand, Strategy, Technology, Community, Mission, Talent and Culture with an emphasis on employee impact. In addition to the employee stories, the screens have an attract state that features a reactive particle system mirroring a user’s body before triggering the brand stories.

The Result
The eye-catching installation drew attention from employees and became a fun destination for them to learn about milestones in the company’s history while taking a break from work. The installation became a featured centerpiece of the Capital One headquarters and an invitation for employees to capture and share their contribution to the company on social media. In addition to creating shareable moments for employees the installation became a great way for Capital One to share their key milestones and initiatives with the employees in an interactive and compelling way.
